Message
Thank you for visiting our exhibition “UKI-TEN” (rainy season – show), which is to be seen on June every year, showing works of students who are learning Japanese painting at Tokyo Gakugei University.
This year it is exceptionally held per online – presented directly from the atelier to the visitor, exhibiting both works on progress and the works done in the past.
Please enjoy our artworks gradually changing during the next two months, till the end of July. We are glad if you feel NIHONGA (Japanese painting) more familiar, just as you feel easier at home.

Addendum
During the period of "UKITEN 2020 in progress," which started on June 1, 2020, the works in progress by Nihonga Lab students were uploaded, and all works were completed on July 28 of the same year.
Have you seen the the detailed drawing process?
On the 5th of August, 2nd year of university students' works will be posted on the same site.
